Our church weekend away is coming up in 2026!

On March 6th-8th we will be heading to the Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick for a weekend of time together as church family – there will be worship, teaching and time to connect with each other!

This year, we'll be reflecting on how our intercultural life together enriches our faith and deepens our reading of Scripture. We're delighted to be joined by Bishop Saju Muthulaly and Daniele Bocchetti (former ordinand at St Nic's and now Vicar of St Mark's, Woodthorpe), who will be speaking across the weekend.

Bishop Saju Muthulaly

The Rt Reverend Saju Muthalaly became Bishop of Loughborough in 2022 has particular oversight responsibilities for the Diocese of Leicester’s Intercultural Worshipping Communities and Racial Equality Strategy.

Revd Daniele Bocchetti

Daniel Bocchetti is the vicar of St Mark’s, Woodthorpe. Daniel is passionate about the theology and tradition of the global church, past and present, and about how listening across cultures and experiences helps us read Scripture more faithfully.
