Upcoming events September
-
A night of worship and prayer as we gather with our whole church family to seek God and pray for our church, our city, our students, and the wider world.
-
Throughout the year, we host a variety of fun (and sometimes slightly crazy!) events designed to bring everyone together. Whether it's team games, hiking, bowling, laser tag, or something completely unexpected, there's always a great chance to make friends, have fun, and create lasting memories.
-
Because of the Nottingham Marathon, we'll be having just one service this Sunday.
Stick around afterwards for our Pudding Night the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a table full of delicious desserts and hang out with friends. We can't wait to see you there!
-
This will be the first meeting of the year. Every Wednesday we meet as a Student community to build real community, worship God, hear from His Word, ask big questions, and be encouraged in our faith journeys

Globe Cafe(Mondays at 7:30pm in church)
A space for international students to feel at home, make friends from around the world, play games, enjoy free food and drinks, and discover more about British culture. Whether you’ve just arrived or have been here a while, Globe is the perfect place to relax and belong.
Highlights for Students:
Student lunch
Once a month after the Sunday service, students are invited into the homes of a church member for a proper home-cooked meal and amazing pudding. It’s a great chance to invite a friend, eat delicious food, have meaningful conversations, and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting.
Student Central
Is our big Saturday gathering , like a mini student service! We come together for worship, prayer, a short devotional, and a relevant talk from a guest speaker. There’s always time to respond, reflect, and chat with other students, and we finish it all off with a big lunch together.
Socials
Throughout the year we have lots of fun and sometimes crazy events that bring everyone together to play, laugh, and make memories. From team games and hiking to bowling and laser tag, there's something for everyone.
Late Night Cafe
We stay up late to serve free hot drinks and snacks to people passing by church, especially students on their way to or from a night out. It's a simple way to show kindness, have genuine conversations, and remind people that they're valued, loved and always welcome.
Student Weekend away
One of the highlights of the year is our time away! It's a chance to step away from the busyness of university life, spend quality time together, and grow deeper in your faith. Expect a weekend full of fun, great food, meaningful conversations, worship, teaching, and plenty of time to relax.
(Save date 12th-14th March 2027)
Students X Youth

Meet our Student minister
Stefany Godoy
I’m Stefany, but most people call me Steff! I’ve been part of St Nic’s four years now, I'm originally from Colombia, I graduated in Psychology and moved to England to do an internship with the student ministry and here I am! I’m passionate to work with young people and walk alongside them in their faith journey.

Sundays
We gather for worship on Sundays with three different services to suit everyone’s style:
9:00 am — A classic service with traditional elements
10:45 am — A lively family service, great for all ages and kids
6:30 pm — A relaxed and quieter service, popular with young people
Whichever service you choose, you’ll find a welcoming place to connect with God and the church community.
Get Stuck In
There are also plenty of opportunities to get to know others within the wider congregation at St Nic’s by serving on a Sunday, joining our football or netball team or by linking up with a mentor. For more details on any of these, send us an email.
