UPCOMING DATES
REGULAR RHYTHMS
Student group (Wednesdays at 7:00pm)
Weekly student meetings where we can come together, build community, worship God, listen to Him and ask questions. This will be on a Wednesday from 7:00pm at church.
Start: 2nd October – 11th December
22nd January- 26th March
30th April- 4th June
Student Events:
Each term we have a bespoke programme of student-specific events with a variety of spaces for discipleship (like Student Central and our men’s and women’s groups), as well as spaces for socialising and hospitality (like our Student Lunches and Socials)
Globe Café (Mondays at 7.30pm):
A specific space for international students to feel at home, meet other students, play games, learn about the British culture and enjoy a variety of (free) food and drinks!
Men’s and Women’s Student Groups
These monthly/termly groups give students an opportunity to form deeper relationships with one another and God and discuss big questions about life and God.
Home from home:
With Home from Home, you will be assigned to a St Nic’s family. We hope that you can connect with the wider church family in their home comforts with their friendship. We believe that inter-generational relationships are so important, and we hope that St Nic’s will be a blessing to you as well.
If you want to be invited for a meal once a term, please chat with the Student minister or fill out this form.
Communities (Various Days):
The main way we do life together as a church is in Communities – multi-generational, mid-sized groups where we encourage one another to love God, love one another and love the world. We usually meet weekly to eat together, read the Bible, serve Jesus together and welcome new people. Our Communities offer a significant place of belonging and growth for our students and so we encourage all students to be part of one. Find a community here!
Social Sundays:
Join us after the 6.30 service as we join with the rest of the congregation in fun activities!
Get Stuck In
There are also plenty of opportunities to get to know others within the wider congregation at St Nic’s by serving on a Sunday, joining our football or netball team or by linking up with a mentor. For more details on any of these, send us an email.
