Internships
Internship Opportunities Sept 2026 – July 2027
with St Nic’s Church and the Diocese of Nottingham and Southwell
Are you looking to invest a year in your apprenticeship to Jesus? Are you passionate about the church, discipling others and sharing the Gospel? Would you like to join a dynamic and friendly team?
We are looking to appoint interns for the coming academic year in partnership with the Diocese of Nottingham and Southwell. We are primarily recruiting for internship positions at St Nic’s in:
Internationals Ministry
Youth Ministry
Communications Production and Media Ministry
Student Ministry
Children Ministry
Worship Ministry,
but we are flexible to adapt the roles according to the successful candidates’ personal giftings and passions!
On a day-to-day basis interns will gain experience in church ministry and mission working alongside the Staff Team at St Nic’s, whilst also fully taking part in The Apprentice Track, a Diocesan programme for 18-30s. The Apprentice Track is all about taking seriously Jesus’ invitation to ‘follow me’ and seeking to adopt some of the key practices that Jesus modelled in his own life. This looks like committing to a way of life with prayer, scripture reading, sabbath and community at the heart of it.
