The Upper Room was a place where Jesus met with his disciples. They spent time together, they shared food and they learnt from Jesus.

From 8th October 2017, we will be launching The Upper Room, meeting at 5pm every Sunday before the evening service (apart from the Sundays where we have Student Lunch!). Just as Jesus and his disciples shared community in the upper room, this will be a chance for students to hang out together and get to know one another better. We will share some delicious, home-cooked food and we will spend time learning from Jesus.

The Upper Room is a space for us to consider what it means to be a Christian at university. We’ll be thinking about what good spiritual habits we can form as students and take with us through and beyond uni. We’ll be tackling difficult topics head on, such as party culture, relationships and work-life balance. We’ll be thinking about how we can best reach our non-Christian mates and engage with the city around us.

The Upper Room is for all students at any stage in their university journey. We’re so excited to be launching this in Autumn 2017, and can’t wait to see you there.

More details to follow soon!
