Organising communities within Nottingham to join together, holding politicians and decision makers in our city to account and campaigning for social justice
A bit more: Nottingham Citizens is comprised of over 40 institutions, each of which has a passion for seeking the peace and prosperity of the city. As a founding member institution of Nottingham Citizens, we at St Nics believe that when we work together with other groups in our city, together we have the power to effect real change. Community organising is democracy in action; winning victories that change lives and transform communities. In the past few years, Nottingham Citizens has been at the forefront of important work around sanctuary and immigration, hate crime, BME inclusion, mental health, social care, and the living wage, to name a few.
