The Upper Room
The Upper Room was a place where Jesus met with his disciples. They spent time together, they shared food and they learnt from Jesus.
At St Nic’s, The Upper Room is a chance for students, at all stages in their university journey, to hang out together and get to know one another better. We meet at our curate, Garreth’s, flat, share an evening meal and community, like Jesus did with his disciples. At The Upper Room we consider what it means to be a Christian at university. We’ll be thinking about what good spiritual habits we can form as students and take with us through and beyond uni. We’ll be tackling difficult topics head on, such as party culture, relationships and work-life balance. We’ll be thinking about how we can best reach our non-Christian mates and engage with the city around us.
For Spring 2018, we will be looking at the theme Get Living: Habits to Last a Lifetime.
