The Upper Room was a place where Jesus met with his disciples. They spent time together, they shared food and they learnt from Jesus.

At St Nic’s, The Upper Room is a chance for students, at all stages in their university journey, to hang out together and get to know one another better. We will be meeting at our curate, Garreth’s, flat, we will share an evening meal and we will share community, like Jesus did with his disciples. At The Upper Room we will be considering what it means to be a Christian at university. We’ll be thinking about what good spiritual habits we can form as students and take with us through and beyond uni. We’ll be tackling difficult topics head on, such as party culture, relationships and work-life balance. We’ll be thinking about how we can best reach our non-Christian mates and engage with the city around us.

On 7th  October 2017, we will be launching The Upper Room with a party for all our old and new students. It will be a great evening to get to know other students ahead of the term. From 15th  October 2017, we will be meeting for The Upper Room, at 5pm every Sunday before the evening service (apart from the Sundays where we have Student Lunch!).

We can’t wait to see you there!
